How long does it take for Soto's MULTI-SURFACE PAINT TOUCH UP to dry?

Dry time largely depends on environmental conditions like temperature, humidity, and air flow but it will usually be dry to the touch in about half an hour. There are a few things you can do to speed up dry times, such as opening the windows (as long as it's not more humid outside) or turning on a fan. While one coat is often sufficient, if you're applying multiple coats, it is best to let the first coat dry for at least 2-4 hours before applying the next coat.

After the final coat, let dry overnight before attaching any items to the freshly painted surface. Make sure it's fully cured (2-3 weeks) before scrubbing or using chemicals or cleaning agents on it. Paint that is fully cured (fully dried) is much more resistant to stains and wear.

Even though it will dry to the touch very quickly, because this is a non toxic alternative to solvent based paint it takes a bit longer to fully cure (between 2-4 weeks should be adequate depending on exposure conditions). However, the final cured durability of our product is typically better than toxic alternatives on the market. That being said, the paint dries very quickly and is pretty durable once dry. However, to ensure the absolute best longevity and performance, we suggest you allow it the full cure time.
